    We Had a Blast!

Had a blast paddling around the bay yesterday. We had a group with 12 and both guides were fantastic. They had all kinds of knowledge about the wildlife, buildings, and boats around the bay, fun and educational. We had beautiful weather until the very end but even when it started to sprinkle we were comfortable. They had rain gear for each of us (in lots of sizes) which helped keep us warmer and drier. If you get the chance to try this, it's well worth the money.

    Wonderful Kayak Experience

We had a wonderful kayak experience for my husbands birthday today! The kids came too and we all loved the trip! It was professional, safe and entertaining! Thank you!

    Knowledgeable & Friendly

We had a wonderful time with Anya exploring Newport by water! Earlier is better because the wind often picks up in the afternoons! We live in Newport so having an activity in town was really awesome!

    Great Kayak Tour

The guide was knowledgeable and the entire trip was picturesque. Saw Harbor seals, a snorkler, Common Murres, Pigeon Gillemots, and Turkey Vulture. The water was like glass. The trip was at my pace.

    Amazing Opportunity

We live in a small town, and I had no idea my children would be able to have experiences that people in larger cities dream of having. They have had knowledgeable and kind instructors. I have never worried about my children when they were in the care of OBF instructors. Thanks for this incredible opportunity!

    Incredible Program

My son has not only learned skills to last him a lifetime but he has had fun doing it. He has made lasting friendships, developed confidence on the water and most importantly knows how to be safe. There is no better place to learn to sail or kayak and no better people to do it with!

    Excellent

I completed two sea kayak classes in 2017, and plan to attend another in 2018. I highly recommend the Oregon Boating Foundation, and my instructor Tom Murphy. You will be knowledgeable, confident, and competent when you're done.
